This is one of the more scenic transfers on the Antalya coast. After the city outskirts, the road hugs the shoreline where the Taurus Mountains drop almost straight into the sea, passing pine-covered slopes and glimpses of the bays below. The final stretch turns off near Tekirova toward the Phaselis site entrance.

Traffic around Antalya and through the Kemer resorts can build up at peak holiday times and on summer weekends, which may add a few minutes, but the route is straightforward and comfortable. Your driver knows the coastal road well and takes the most direct way to your address or to the site.

The water in the bays is clear and usually calm, and parts of the shore are pebbly rather than soft sand, so water shoes are genuinely useful here. Bring sun cream, a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water, along with a towel and light beachwear. Comfortable footwear helps too, since you walk among the ruins and along uneven paths to reach the different coves.
