Most diving runs from a boat that leaves the Kemer marina and heads along the coast toward Tekirova and the Üç Adalar, the Three Islands, a cluster of dive spots with canyons, swim-throughs and walls dropping into deep blue.

Underwater you can expect schools of bream and damselfish, the occasional octopus tucked into a crevice, lobster, crabs, starfish and the curious lizard fish that rest on the sand. Experienced divers often head for the Paris Wreck, a freighter sunk after the First World War that now sits as an artificial reef draped in life. Beginners stay in the shallow, sheltered bays where the same colourful fish gather over rock and seagrass.

Because the day is private, the timing is built around you. After hotel pickup, your driver takes you to the Kemer marina to meet the dive boat in the morning, when the sea is usually at its calmest. A typical diving programme includes a short briefing, then two dives over the course of the day with a break and lunch on board between them.

First-timers receive basic training on the boat — how the equipment works and the simple hand signals used underwater — before a guided descent into shallow water, often around five to six metres, always accompanied by an instructor. The best season for diving here runs from late spring to early autumn, roughly late May to September, when the sea is warmest at around 22–30°C and conditions are calmest. The day suits couples, friends and families; the minimum age for an introductory dive is usually around fourteen, while younger children and non-divers can still enjoy the boat ride and snorkelling.
