Antalya Airport to Kaputaş Beach Transfer

Kaputaş Beach lies where a narrow canyon meets the sea on the D400 coast road in the Kaş and Kalkan region. The beach itself is compact, a wedge of pale pebbles and coarse sand framed by steep rock walls, and the river-fed gorge behind it helps keep the water a vivid, almost luminous turquoise.

Reaching the sand means walking down a long flight of steps from the roadside cliff, which is part of the experience and part of why the cove feels tucked away. From the top the view over the bay is striking, and many travellers stop just to take it in before heading down.

In summer the small bay fills quickly, with sunbeds and a seasonal snack point near the water. People come to swim in the clear sea, snorkel along the rocky edges and float in one of the most photogenic settings on this stretch of coast.

Antalya Airport sits on the eastern side of the city, while Kaputaş Beach lies far to the west between Kalkan and Kaş, so the route runs the length of the western Mediterranean coast. After leaving the airport you pass Antalya and continue along the main coastal highway toward the Kaş and Kalkan region.

The distance is about 200 km and the usual private-transfer time is around 175 minutes. The final stretch follows the winding cliff-top D400, a scenic road with sweeping sea views, bends and gradual climbs, so the journey is longer than a city transfer but rewarding to watch.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with the bags and takes you straight toward the beach or your accommodation nearby. There is no changing of vehicles, and because the fare is fixed per car you pay no extra if traffic or roadworks slow the drive.

Two vehicle types serve this route. An economy car costs from €69 one way and suits a couple or small family with normal luggage. A Vito minivan costs from €90 one way and gives more room for larger groups, extra suitcases or beach and travel gear.

Prices are per vehicle rather than per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay no matter how many seats are filled. No prepayment is needed; you settle directly with the driver in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights on this long route are covered.

Because the drive is around 175 minutes, keep water, snacks and anything you need close to hand rather than buried in your luggage, and let the driver know in advance if you would like a short comfort stop along the way.

Kaputaş has no nearby hotels, so most visitors stay in Kalkan or Kaş and treat the cove as a day trip. If you are based there, you can book the return transfer to the airport at the same time, giving your pickup address and flight number so the driver leaves with enough margin for the long coastal drive back.

The beach is busiest in the middle of a summer day, so an earlier arrival means easier parking at the top and more space on the sand. From Kalkan and Kaş you are also close to other bays, the harbour towns and boat trips, which makes it easy to combine Kaputaş with the rest of the region.

Kaputaş is a small cove of pale pebbles and coarse sand reached by a long staircase from the cliff-top road, so comfortable footwear for the steps and water shoes for the shingle make the day far easier, especially with children.

The main swimming season runs roughly from late spring to early autumn, when the sea is warm and the turquoise water is at its clearest. The bay is open and can catch a breeze and small waves on windier days, so it is worth keeping an eye on conditions before swimming out, particularly with younger children.

There is little natural shade on the sand, so bring sunscreen, a hat, water and a towel; sunbeds and a seasonal snack point are usually available in summer but can be limited when the small beach is full. Pack light, as everything must be carried down and back up the steps.
