Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı Transfer

Konyaaltı is a district and a beach in one. The shoreline stretches for several kilometres along the western edge of Antalya, ending at the cliffs below the city centre and the foothills of the Beydağları range. The water is clean and deep blue, and the mountain backdrop makes it one of the most photogenic stretches of coast in the region.

Behind the beach runs Beach Park, a long green promenade with restaurants, cafes, play areas and shaded benches. It is an easy place to spend a whole day, moving between the sea, a meal and a slow walk.

Visitors choose Konyaaltı because it combines a real beach holiday with quick access to Antalya's old town, museum and tram line. Families, couples and longer-stay guests all find it convenient, and there are hotels and apartments across a wide range of styles within walking distance of the water.

Antalya Airport sits on the eastern side of the city, while Konyaaltı is to the west, so the route takes you along the southern edge of Antalya. Most of the journey follows main roads and the coastal corridor, with the city on one side and glimpses of the sea and mountains on the other.

The distance is about 22 km and the typical private-transfer time is around 28 minutes. In heavy summer traffic or peak airport hours it can stretch a little longer, but the roads are good and direct for almost the whole way.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with luggage and takes you straight to your hotel or apartment address in Konyaaltı. There is no need to change vehicles, and because the price is fixed per car you do not pay extra if traffic is slow.

Two main vehicle types serve this route. An economy car costs from €16 one way and suits up to a small family with normal luggage. A Vito minivan costs from €21 one way and is the better choice for larger groups, extra suitcases or travellers who simply want more room.

Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure you see is the figure you pay regardless of how many seats are filled. There is no prepayment required; you pay the driver directly in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights are covered.

Pack a small bag with what you need first, such as swimwear, sunscreen and a light layer for the evening, so you can reach the beach quickly after checking in. Konyaaltı can be breezy in the late afternoon even in summer.

If you are flying home later, it is easy to book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup point and flight number, and the driver will collect you from your accommodation with enough margin for check-in and the drive back to the airport.

The quietest transfer times are mid-morning and the early afternoon, while late afternoon and evening arrivals can meet more traffic across the city. From Konyaaltı you are also close to Antalya's old town (Kaleiçi), the harbour and the tram, which makes day trips simple once you have settled in.

Konyaaltı Beach is a Blue Flag stretch of small pebbles and shingle rather than fine sand, which keeps the water exceptionally clear. Comfortable sandals or beach shoes make getting in and out of the sea much easier.

The main swimming season runs roughly from late spring to early autumn, when the sea is warm and the long daylight hours suit beach days. In high summer the middle of the day is strong, so many visitors swim in the morning and again before sunset.

Bring sunscreen, water and a hat, and consider a light cover-up for the walk back along the promenade. Sun loungers, showers, cafes and snack spots are spread along the beachfront, so you do not need to carry much beyond the essentials.
