Beach Park Antalya is a seafront leisure area on the Konyaaltı coast that brings several attractions together in one place. The headline draws are the Aqualand water park with its slides and pools, the neighbouring Dolphinland show arena and the Antalya Aquarium, one of the largest in the region with its long underwater tunnel. Around them are a pebble beach, promenades, cafes, restaurants and a Migros shopping centre.

Walking into the park grounds and the beach is generally free, but attractions such as Aqualand, Dolphinland and the aquarium each need their own ticket, separate from your transfer. How long you stay depends on what you choose: a quick beach and lunch visit takes a couple of hours, while a full day with the water park and aquarium easily fills six.

It suits families well, since the slides, dolphin shows, marine life and open beach appeal to children and adults alike, and the flat, paved layout is easy with a buggy.

Antalya Airport lies on the eastern side of the city while Beach Park sits to the west at Konyaaltı, so your route runs across the southern edge of Antalya. Beach Park is right on the Konyaaltı seafront, so the beach is pebbly rather than sandy; water shoes are handy if you plan to swim. Sun protection, a hat and water matter in summer, as much of the open area is exposed, though the indoor aquarium gives a cool break on hot days.

If you are arriving before check-in, ask the driver to drop you at the entrance and book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup address and flight number for the trip back, and the driver will allow enough margin for check-in and the drive to the airport.

Getting around the wider area is easy: the Konyaaltı tram line and city buses run nearby, and the long Konyaaltı Beach promenade, Antalya's old town of Kaleiçi and the city museum are all within a short ride, so the visit fits neatly into a full day on the coast.

A shared shuttle stops at several hotels before yours and runs on a fixed timetable, which can add a lot of waiting after a long flight. A private transfer leaves as soon as you are ready and goes straight to Beach Park or your hotel with no detours.

Compared with a metered taxi, your price is agreed in advance and fixed per vehicle, so there are no surprises if traffic is slow and no negotiation at the rank.
