Antalya Airport to Düden Waterfalls Transfer

Düden Waterfalls is fed by the Düden River and has two main parts. The Upper Düden Falls (Yukarı Düden) sit in a shaded park north-east of the city, where the river tumbles over rocks and you can walk behind the curtain of water into a cool, mossy cave. It is a green, relaxed spot with shady paths, tea gardens and viewing terraces.

The Lower Düden Falls (Aşağı Düden) are very different: here the river reaches the coast at Lara and pours about forty metres straight off the cliff into the sea. The clifftop park gives the best land view, while boat trips from Antalya harbour approach the falls from the water.

Both sites are popular with families, photographers and first-time visitors. Many people pair the falls with a short city visit, as they are close to central Antalya and easy to reach by road.

Antalya Airport sits on the eastern edge of the city, and the Düden falls are on the northern and coastal sides nearby, so the drive is short and direct. Your route follows main city roads, passing residential districts and green areas rather than long stretches of highway.

The distance is about 18 km and the usual private-transfer time is around 24 minutes. During busy summer afternoons or peak airport hours it can take a little longer, but the roads are good and the trip stays comfortable throughout.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with the bags and takes you straight to the Upper or Lower Falls, or to your hotel first if you prefer. There is no changing of vehicles, and because the fare is fixed per car you pay no extra if traffic is slow.

Two vehicle types serve this route. An economy car costs from €14 one way and suits a couple or small family with normal luggage. A Vito minivan costs from €18 one way and gives more room for larger groups, extra suitcases or a day out with the family.

Prices are per vehicle rather than per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay no matter how many seats are filled. No prepayment is needed; you settle directly with the driver in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights are covered.

Wear comfortable shoes, as the Upper Falls have steps, damp paths and the cave walk behind the water can be slippery. A light layer is handy too, because the air near the falls stays cool even on hot days.

If you are flying home later, you can book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup address and flight number, and the driver will collect you with enough margin for check-in and the drive back to the airport.

The calmest times to visit are mid-morning and early afternoon, before the day-tour crowds and the late-afternoon city traffic. The Lower Falls at Lara pair well with Lara Beach, while the Upper Falls are close to central Antalya, the old town of Kaleiçi and the harbour, making it easy to add a second stop to your day.

The Upper Düden Falls are the highlight for most visitors, thanks to the walk-behind cave and the green riverside park around it. The Lower Düden Falls are the dramatic clifftop drop into the sea, best seen from the viewing terraces or from a harbour boat trip.

The Upper Falls park charges a small entrance fee, while the Lower Falls clifftop park is generally free to enter; fees can change, so it is worth checking locally. A relaxed visit to one site takes about one to two hours, and you can comfortably see both in a half day with a car.

Both sites are family friendly, with paths, shade and tea gardens, though parents should keep children close near the wet rocks and clifftop edges. Spring and early summer bring the strongest water flow, while autumn offers cooler, quieter visits.
