Antalya Airport to Karaalioğlu Park Transfer

Karaalioğlu Park is one of Antalya's best-known city parks, spread along the cliffs at the southern edge of the centre, right beside the historic Kaleiçi quarter. It is a green, open space with tall palms, flower beds, pine trees, fountains and long walking paths that follow the clifftop.

The park is best known for its views. From the terraces and viewpoints you look out over the Mediterranean and, on clear days, across the bay to the Bey Mountains. At the western end stands the Hıdırlık Tower, a round Roman-era stone tower that marks the boundary with Kaleiçi and is a favourite spot for sunset.

Locals and visitors come here to walk, sit in the tea gardens, let children play and enjoy the sea breeze. Because it borders the old town, the park pairs naturally with a stroll through Kaleiçi's narrow streets, the harbour and the surrounding cafes.

Antalya Airport sits on the eastern side of the city, and Karaalioğlu Park is on the southern edge of the centre by the coast, so the drive heads across town toward the sea. The route follows main city roads and boulevards rather than long highway stretches, passing residential districts and green areas on the way in.

The distance is about 15 km and the usual private-transfer time is around 22 minutes. During busy summer afternoons or peak airport hours it can take a little longer, but the roads are good and the trip stays comfortable from start to finish.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with the bags and takes you straight to the park or to your hotel in Kaleiçi or the centre first if you prefer. There is no changing of vehicles, and because the fare is fixed per car you pay no extra if traffic is slow.

Two vehicle types serve this route. An economy car costs from €14 one way and suits a couple or small family with normal luggage. A Vito minivan costs from €18 one way and gives more room for larger groups, extra suitcases or a family day out.

Prices are per vehicle rather than per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay no matter how many seats are filled. No prepayment is needed; you settle directly with the driver in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights are covered.

Wear comfortable shoes, as the park has long paths and gentle slopes, and bring a hat and water in summer, since the open terraces get plenty of sun. The clifftop edges and viewpoints are unfenced in places, so keep younger children close.

If you are flying home later, you can book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup address and flight number, and the driver will collect you with enough margin for check-in and the drive back to the airport.

The calmest times to visit are mid-morning and late afternoon, and sunset is especially popular near the Hıdırlık Tower. Because the park sits right next to Kaleiçi, it is easy to combine with the old town, the marina and the nearby Mermerli area, so you can build a relaxed half day around it.

The main draws are the clifftop sea views, the palm-lined promenade and the Hıdırlık Tower at the western end, next to the entrance to Kaleiçi. The tea gardens and shaded benches make it an easy place to pause, and the open terraces are a classic spot for photos over the bay.

The park itself is a public space and is generally free to enter and open through the day; there is no ticket for a normal visit, though that can change, so it is worth checking locally. A relaxed walk through the gardens and viewpoints takes about thirty minutes to an hour, and you can easily extend the visit by continuing into Kaleiçi.

The park is family friendly, with wide paths, shade and room for children to walk, though parents should mind the clifftop edges. It suits all ages and pairs well with a slow afternoon by the sea.
