Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı Beach Transfer

Konyaaltı Beach runs for several kilometres along the western edge of Antalya, ending beneath the cliffs of the city centre and the foothills of the Beydağları range. Unlike the sandy bays further east, it is made of smooth pebbles and shingle, which is part of why the water stays so clear and deep blue.

Behind the sand-and-pebble shore lies Beach Park, a long landscaped promenade of cafes, restaurants, play areas and shaded benches. Sun loungers, showers and snack spots are spread along the front, so it is easy to settle in for a full day by the sea.

The mountain backdrop makes Konyaaltı one of the most photogenic beaches on this part of the coast, and it draws families, couples and longer-stay visitors alike. Many come not only to swim but to walk the promenade at sunset, when the light over the bay is at its best.

Antalya Airport lies on the eastern side of the city while Konyaaltı Beach sits to the west, so your route runs along the southern edge of Antalya. The drive follows main roads and the coastal corridor, with the city on one side and occasional views of the sea and mountains on the other.

The distance is about 22 km and the usual private-transfer time is around 28 minutes. During heavy summer traffic or busy airport hours it can take a little longer, but the roads are good and direct for almost the whole way.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with the bags and takes you straight to your hotel or apartment near the beach. There is no changing of vehicles, and because the fare is fixed per car you pay no extra if the traffic is slow.

Two vehicle types serve this route. An economy car costs from €16 one way and suits a couple or small family with normal luggage. A Vito minivan costs from €21 one way and gives more room for larger groups, extra suitcases or beach gear.

Prices are per vehicle rather than per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay no matter how many seats are filled. No prepayment is needed; you settle directly with the driver in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights are covered.

Keep your beach essentials in a small bag at the top of your luggage, such as swimwear, sunscreen and beach shoes, so you can reach the water quickly once you have checked in. The pebble shore is far easier on bare feet with sandals or water shoes.

If you are flying home later, you can book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup address and flight number, and the driver will collect you from your accommodation near Konyaaltı with enough margin for check-in and the drive back to the airport.

The calmest transfer times are mid-morning and early afternoon, while late-afternoon and evening arrivals can meet more city traffic. From Konyaaltı you are also close to Antalya's old town of Kaleiçi, the harbour, the Antalya Museum and the tram line, which makes day trips simple once you have settled in by the beach.

Konyaaltı Beach is a blue-flag stretch of small pebbles and shingle rather than fine sand, which keeps the water exceptionally clear. Comfortable sandals or beach shoes make getting in and out of the sea far easier, especially with children.

The main swimming season runs roughly from late spring to early autumn, when the sea is warm and the long daylight hours suit full beach days. In high summer the midday sun is strong, so many visitors swim in the morning and again before sunset, and the breeze often picks up in the late afternoon.

Bring sunscreen, water, a hat and a light cover-up for the walk back along the promenade. Loungers, umbrellas, showers and cafes line the beachfront, so beyond your swimwear and a towel there is little you need to carry down to the water.
