Antalya Airport to Sarısu Beach Transfer

Sarısu Beach lies on the western side of the Konyaaltı shoreline, where the city gives way to pine woods and the foothills of the Beydağları range. The shore is a mix of pebbles and coarse sand with a gently sloping entry into clear, deep-blue water, and the mountains form a striking backdrop behind the bay.

It is a public beach rather than a private resort strip, so its facilities can be used freely, with sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, showers, changing cabins, simple cafes and seasonal lifeguards. Sarısu is also famous for its women-only beach, a blue-flag section reserved for women during the day, which makes the area a comfortable choice for many families.

The main swimming season runs from late spring to early autumn, when the sea is warm and the days are long. Bring sunscreen, water, a hat and beach shoes, as the pebbles are far easier on bare feet with sandals.

Antalya Airport lies on the eastern side of the city while Sarısu Beach sits to the far west of Konyaaltı, so your route runs along the southern edge of Antalya. The drive follows main roads and the coastal corridor, with the city on one side and occasional views of the sea and mountains on the other before the road climbs gently toward the western beaches.

The distance is about 22 km and the usual private-transfer time is around 28 minutes. During heavy summer traffic or busy airport hours it can take a little longer, but the roads are good and direct for almost the whole way.

Door to door, your driver meets you inside the terminal, helps with the bags and takes you straight to your hotel or apartment near the beach. There is no changing of vehicles, and because the fare is fixed per car you pay no extra if the traffic is slow.

Prices are per vehicle rather than per person, and they are fixed for the journey, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay no matter how many seats are filled. No prepayment is needed; you settle directly with the driver in cash or by card at the time of travel.

Every booking includes a free meet and greet with a name sign at arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. The service runs around the clock, so late-night and very early flights are covered without any surcharge.

Keep your beach essentials in a small bag at the top of your luggage, such as swimwear, sunscreen and beach shoes, so you can reach the water quickly once you have checked in. Because Sarısu is a public recreation area with picnic spots and BBQ areas under the pines, it is easy to make a full day of it, so a little water and shade are worth packing.

If you are staying along the wider Konyaaltı coast, the main Konyaaltı Beach, the Beach Park promenade, the Antalya Museum and the Tünektepe cable car are all close by, which makes simple day trips easy. The old town of Kaleiçi and the harbour are a short ride further east.

If you are flying home later, book the return leg at the same time. Give your pickup address and flight number, and the driver will collect you with enough margin for check-in.

A metered taxi from the airport has no fixed price, so the final fare depends on the route and the traffic, and the western end of Konyaaltı is one of the longer city runs. A private transfer is quoted as a single fixed price per car before you travel, with no surprises at the end of the ride.

Shared shuttles are cheaper per seat but stop at several hotels along the way, which can add a long time to what should be a short journey to Sarısu. With a private car you go straight to your door with no detours.
