Antalya Airport to Side Beach Transfer

Side Beach is a long stretch of Mediterranean coastline beside the historic resort town of Side, one of the most popular destinations on Turkey's southern coast. The shoreline mixes wide sandy sections with shallow, gently sloping water, which is part of why families return here year after year.

What makes Side special is the way the beach sits right next to ancient ruins. You can spend the morning on the sand and the late afternoon walking among Roman-era remains, the old harbour and seafront cafes in the town itself. The journey from Antalya Airport to Side Beach covers roughly 65 km and takes about 60 minutes in normal traffic. Your driver leaves the airport and heads east on the main coastal highway that links Antalya with Belek, Serik and Side.

The route is mostly modern dual carriageway, running past citrus groves, the pine forests the Belek area is known for, and open countryside that gradually gives way to the coast around Side. There are no awkward detours, so the ride stays direct and comfortable from terminal to seafront.

From the moment your driver greets you at arrivals to drop-off near the beach, everything is handled for you. That is a real comfort at the end of a long flight, especially if you are travelling with children or plenty of luggage.

A Vito minivan, with more room for passengers and luggage, starts from €38 per vehicle one way. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, so the fare stays the same however many seats are filled, up to the vehicle's capacity.

Every transfer includes a free meet and greet with a name sign in arrivals, flight tracking so the driver adjusts to delays or early landings, and free child seats on request. There is no prepayment required.

You simply pay the driver at the end of the ride, in cash or by card, at the fixed price agreed when you book.

When you book, let us know your total luggage and group size so the right vehicle is ready. Larger families or anyone travelling with beach gear, pushchairs or extra cases will usually be more comfortable in the Vito, while the economy car is fine for smaller groups.

The swimming season around Side typically runs from late spring into autumn, when the Mediterranean is warm and the days are reliably sunny. Midsummer can be hot, so many visitors enjoy the beach in the morning and again in the late afternoon, with the middle of the day reserved for shade or a cooler indoor break.

For a comfortable day, bring sun protection, a hat and water, plus swim shoes if you prefer them on the mixed sand-and-pebble sections. Many stretches have sunbeds and parasols to rent, along with cafes and water-sports operators in season, so you do not need to carry much.

Because Side Beach sits next to the old town, it is easy to combine a few hours by the sea with a stroll past the ruins and a meal by the harbour, making for a relaxed full day at the coast.
