Belek, about 35 km east of the airport, is the polished choice: manicured golf courses, pine forest, white-sand beaches and the country's highest concentration of five-star hotels. Kemer, around 55 km to the west, trades flat coastline for dramatic Taurus mountains plunging into clear water, ideal for couples who love nature and quiet coves. Side blends a sandy beach scene with floodlit Roman ruins, so you can wander an ancient temple after dinner. Lara Beach, closest to the airport, offers themed luxury resorts within easy reach of Antalya city. Pick Belek for pampering, Kemer for scenery and Side for history with your sunbathing.

Antalya has a growing range of adults-only and couples-focused resorts that keep things calm and intimate. Look for properties advertising '16+' or '18+' policies, swim-up rooms, private pool villas and spa treatments for two. Belek leads on luxury, with exclusive beachfront resorts known for honeymoon suites and butler service, while Kemer and Side offer more boutique and mid-range adults-only options. When booking, mention you are on honeymoon: many Turkish hotels add free room upgrades, fruit, sparkling wine or rose-petal turndowns. Confirm whether the resort is all-inclusive or B&B, and check the spa and à la carte restaurant list, since the best honeymoon perks are often the quiet ones away from the buffet.

Timing shapes the whole trip. May, June, September and early October are the sweet spot: sea temperatures around 23–26°C, long sunny days, warm evenings and noticeably thinner crowds than peak summer. July and August are hot, often above 35°C, and the busiest and priciest months, which can dull a romantic mood. April and late October are pleasantly mild for sightseeing and walking the old town, though some beach clubs wind down. Winter is quiet and green, good for spa-focused stays at lower prices, but many resorts and boat tours close. Before dinner, walk through the 130 AD Hadrian's Gate and watch the sun drop from Karaalioğlu Park, near the Roman-era Hıdırlık Tower, one of the most romantic viewpoints in the city.
