Side sits on the Mediterranean coast in the Manavgat district of Antalya Province, roughly 65 kilometres east of Antalya Airport. The drive follows the well-maintained D400 coastal highway, which runs the length of the Turkish Riviera and connects most of the major resorts.

Under normal traffic conditions the journey takes around 60 to 75 minutes. In peak summer months, especially on Friday and Saturday changeover days when hotels switch guests, traffic on the D400 can be heavier and add 15 to 30 minutes.
