Antalya Airport to Damlataş Cave Transfer

Damlataş Cave was discovered by accident in 1948, when workers quarrying stone for the new Alanya harbour broke through into a hidden chamber. It became the first cave in Turkey opened to tourism, and it remains one of Alanya's signature sights. A short passage leads down into a single domed hall hung with dense stalactites and stalagmites that grew slowly, drop by drop, over roughly 15,000 years, giving the cave its name, which means dripping stone.

The cave is famous for its stable microclimate. The temperature stays around 22 degrees year-round, humidity sits near 95 percent and the air is rich in carbon dioxide, conditions long believed to ease asthma.
