Avsallar is a small coastal resort town between Side and Alanya, set where pine forest meets the Mediterranean in the western Alanya Region. Once a quiet village, it has grown into a friendly holiday spot built around its beaches, with hotels, guesthouses, supermarkets and seafront restaurants lining the shore.

Visitors come to Avsallar mainly for a calm, good-value beach holiday. The wide bay near İncekum is famous for its fine sand and shallow, gently sloping water, which makes it especially comfortable for families with children. Behind the beach, low pine-clad hills give the area its green, sheltered feel.

The town centre is compact and easy to walk, with a weekly market, cafés and shops covering everyday needs. Because Avsallar is close to Alanya, Manavgat and Side, it works well as a laid-back base for travellers who want the sea on their doorstep but still want day trips within easy reach.

The drive from Antalya Airport to Avsallar covers about 105 km and takes roughly 80 minutes in normal traffic. After leaving the terminal, your driver joins the main coastal highway heading east towards Serik, Manavgat and Alanya, a well-maintained dual carriageway that carries most of the region's traffic.

Much of the journey runs close to the Mediterranean, with the Taurus Mountains rising inland to the north and stretches of pine forest, citrus groves and sea views along the way. Avsallar lies just before Alanya, so the highway brings you almost all the way before branching off to your hotel.

Every price is per vehicle, not per person, and it is fixed in advance, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay regardless of traffic or the time of day. There is no prepayment required: you simply pay the driver at the end of the trip, in cash or by card.

The price already includes a free meet and greet with a name sign in the arrivals hall, flight tracking so we adjust to your real landing time, and free child seats when you request them. With one clear per-vehicle price there are no surprises waiting for you at the kerb.

When you book, let us know how many travellers and how many suitcases you have so we can send the right vehicle; the Vito is the safer choice if you are carrying a lot of luggage, sports equipment or a pushchair. Tell us in advance if you need child seats and how many, as these are provided free of charge.

Return transfers from Avsallar back to the airport are easy to arrange at the same time as your arrival booking. Because the drive is around 80 minutes, leave with a comfortable buffer for the trip home and allow extra time during the busy summer months.

The beach is the heart of a holiday in Avsallar. The long sandy bay stretches towards İncekum, where the name itself means fine sand, and the water deepens gradually from the shore, making it calm and reassuring for younger swimmers.

The main beach season runs roughly from late spring through to autumn, when the Mediterranean is warm and the days are reliably sunny. High summer brings the hottest, busiest weather, while late spring and early autumn are quieter and still very pleasant for swimming and sunbathing.

For a beach day it helps to bring sun protection, water and beach shoes, though much of the Avsallar shore is soft sand. Many stretches have sunbeds, cafés and water-sports nearby, and the pine trees behind the sand offer welcome shade. Arriving rested after a smooth door-to-door transfer means you can head straight for the sea.
